Current- Utilize biomechanical research and Insight from Universities as well as pro athletes and clubs through the liaison with the innovation sports science team, design team as well as legal team to patent and then evolve ideas to first concepts for biomechanical and durability testing.• Investigate and utilize new methods of construction and materials to enhance the product performance.• Work to define timelines with the Puma Innovation office as well as various T1- T3 suppliers in Vietnam to develop prototypes for bio-mechanical testing, durability testing, lab testing and meeting samples for the internal review with the various BUs at Puma.• Engineering of both the upper and tooling for Puma’s preliminary categories; basketball, football and running for Innovation. - Liaison with T1-3 suppliers regarding the combination of materials or manufacture in order to render a specific mechanical behavior of the product to increase performance of the athlete.• Handover of all project documentation and finalized product to sourcing teams in Asia and HQ inline teams for commerciality.
