I was responsible for managing and controlling the flow of the shipping dock. This involved communicating with associates and yard drivers when a trailer was ready to be shipped, as well as documenting and maintaining the seal log. At the end of each day, I reported the number of trailers that were shipped and finalized the billing for the shipments that were to be delivered to the 116 stores the DC serviced. Trained and developed associates who were interested in learning and developing their skills by running the shipping desk for support.

Regional loader that assisted in maintaining the flow of the building by loading freight into trailers to support the needs of the business. Trained in our Small stores are of shipping by building pallets to fulfill orders for the neighborhood markets that the company serviced. Assisted in teaching and training new hires on how to build pallets and learn the procedures of Small stores.
