- Focused on commercial, customers and growth, taking SemCAMS from a small underperforming entity and built it into a significant and successful multi-billion dollar midstream company - over 600% growth; - Responsible for business development, corporate development, acquisitions, commercial negotiations, customer relations and a core contributor to the culture of the organization;- Built new partnerships and strengthened existing relationships to improve business and backstop new growth projects and new midstream investments;- Worked with internal and external stakeholders to improve reliability and utilization of SemCAMS gas plants; - Developed an active acquisition strategy to pursue and acquire additional working interest in SemCAMS joint venture facilities and identified new target assets to acquire;- Negotiated and secured contractual commitments from producers to construct a new 200 mmscf/d sour gas plant (Wapiti Gas Plant). Successfully built ahead of schedule and under budget ($350 million);- Successfully secured partnerships and long-term contractual commitments to build other midstream assets (Smoke Lake Gas Plant, Pipestone Pipeline, liquid handling facilities, co-generation plant, etc.);- Pursued and successfully completed the acquisition of Meritage Midstream Canada ($600 million) and other midstream assets, with comprehensive due diligence and integration processes;- Developed the strategy to expand SemCAMS business into NGL liquids and fractionation;- Partnered with Keyera (50/50) to pursue and secure a positive FID to build the $1.6 Billion KAPS Pipeline (NGL and Condensate pipelines); and- Worked on the transition to Energy Transfer when they took over the company.

- Identified, analyzed and pursued new business opportunities and acquisitions, expanded and/or improved the utilization of Keyera’s facilities, and increased cash generation for the company - over 1000% growth;- Provided leadership, guidance, recommendations, strategy, direction and support to the operations, business development and joint venture groups;- Established strategic alliances and relationships with producers and joint venture partners;- Identified and support accretive capital projects and ensure they continue to move toward successful completion; -Managed budgeting, planning and commercial operations of sour gas plants, pipelines and midstream assets;- Compiled long term strategic plans surrounding the sustainability and future development of facilities;- Negotiated terms and conditions with producers to establish natural gas and liquids transportation and processing agreements, construction, ownership and operating agreements, and joint venture capital projects such as pipeline and gas plant construction, expansion and acquisition, and- Mentored and developed team members.

- Reported directly to the President and CEO;- Identified, pursued and evaluated business opportunities to contribute toward growing the company with long term sustainability - over 700% growth;- Worked on oil and gas acquisitions and integration with an aggregate value of over $2 billion; including the acquisition of Ultima Energy Trust and Kaiser, and ending with Petrofund’s merger with Penn West;- Successfully identified, evaluated and acquired the management contract of KOCH Pipelines by NCE Resources Group, establishing control and management of the company renamed as Inter Pipeline;- Lead in pursuing alternative energy projects, pipelines, midstream acquisitions and projects;- Managed and negotiated a wind power project in central Alberta, ensuring regulatory, legal and economic impedances were addressed and land acquired;- Established Petrofund’s investor relations department when head office was relocated to Calgary. Managed, supervised & mentored the group. Built unitholder base to over 100,000 investors, enterprise value over $3.5 billion, listed on US and Cdn exchanges;- Developed and supported the investor relations strategy;- Primary contact for institutional/retail investors, research analysts, media queries, and regulatory organizations, including stock exchanges;- Increased company profile by communicating objectives and achievements with investment community;- Planned and managed all shareholder meetings and financial presentations with investors and analysts;- Worked with the executive, lawyers, investment bankers, corporate bankers, and creditors on equity offerings, debt financings, etc;- Supported the rollup of NCE Drilling funds and the establishment of Endev Energy, and- Marketed NCE Flow Through Funds and Strategic Energy Fund launching their IPOs.
