I am a Shareholder at Polsinelli and serve as the Chair of the Environmental Practice Group. I work in the areas of environmental and OSHA / health and safety law for corporate clients including permitting of manufacturing and waste treatment facilities, counseling on hazardous waste regulation, conducting due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, managing Brownfields redevelopments, conducting environmental compliance audits and remediation projects, and federal and state reporting and remediation requirements relating to the release of hazardous substances. I assist clients in complying with permits, recovering cleanup costs and obtaining environmental insurance coverage. I have litigation experience in federal and state government investigations, enforcement actions and private-party cost recovery actions under state and federal law. I also provide advice on regulation of underground storage tanks, asbestos, lead, MTBE, mold abatement, and related litigation. Additionally, I advise clients on regulation of the manufacture, sale and distribution of toxic materials, and the impact of conservation laws and wetlands on real estate development.
