I also scripted server and plant floor PC installations to drastically reduce setup time, within a hybrid (Waterfall\Agile) project model.I supervised procurement and configuration of VSA HA clusters using VMWare 4/5, Windows 2003/2008, SQL Server 2005/2008, and IIS 6.0/7.0, and integrated into existing control and reporting systems for secure and high reliability operations in overseas locations. I really enjoyed implementing and maintaining an SVN source control system for Bauer Controls with CollabNet TeamForge on a CentOS 5 server to provide bug-tracking and reporting capabilities. This included JBoss, Tomcat, and Apache web server. I customized the TeamForge workflow by utilizing Python 2.6 and Java/Apache Ant for programming changes, and I had a fantastic time doing it! I really enjoyed using Python to replace the standard Perl maintenance scripts on the servers, as well.I had a ball setting up an internet-facing Ubuntu FTP server and an internet-facing Windows 2003 demonstration server with no security failures or unauthorized access. I really liked maintaining a couple of pfSense software routers, and implementing a CentOS 6 server for network and authentication management; I would have done it for free!

Managed three T-1 lines and associated Lucent and Cisco routers with 100% required uptime. Managed a network running both TCP/IP and DECnet-Plus network protocols. Maintained approximately 20 PCs and 45 DEC VT100 and VT220 data terminals which connected to the servers. Maintained 3 high-capacity printers, print servers, and automated mailing and postage equipment at the main location, and high-capacity printers at a remote office, with no downtime.
