Coordinator of the employee training program for the Compliance and Enforcement Division of the Department. Develop and provide competency timelines and training modules to provide initial training for new inspectors as well as ongoing development of all Compliance staff. Provide a holistic framework for both OnBoarding training as well as ongoing career development for members of the Division. Present training modules to audiences varying between small groups (2-10 people) and large audiences (70+). Provide field based training to members of both the Division and larger Department.Assist Division and Department Management in hiring of new employees. Assess candidates and take a leading role in the hiring process for a number of positions within the Division. Act as the initial contact that many new employees have with the Department. Provide initial OnBoarding and Performance Management supervision and development for new members of the Division.Collaborate with a Senior Inspector to assess knowledge and skill deficiencies within the Division and create new learning opportunities. Act as a subject matter expert and point of knowledge for all members of the Division.Act as the day to day supervisor of inspectors during the yearlong initial training phase. Additionally, work to facilitate goal development and action plans for employees. Consult and assist in Department wide projects including development of new programs, plans, and protocols to ensure delivery of Department Strategic Plan outputs and outcomes.

Conducted complex inspections of federally regulated Major Source facilities governed under Title V of the Clean Air Act. Acted as the Point of Contact for several Title V regulated facilities within Maricopa County in order to liaison between the County and regulated facilities.Conducted inspections of asbestos renovation and demolition projects regulated under NESHAP Subpart M. Maintained AHERA Contract/Supervisor and AHERA Building Inspector certifications.Acted as a subject matter expert for the Department in areas of MACT, NESHAP, and NSPS regulations as well as County rules and regulations. These duties included assisting in rule making, permitting, and planning capacities.Assisted in training activities for new employees to the Department as well as providing certification training courses to stakeholders and customers.
