Serves as lead SIPRNET Information Technology Specialist Network Technician with the responsibility for the Local and Wide Area Network systems administration, TACLANE configuration/troubleshooting, database administration, and micro-computer applications. Provides system administration support for the in-house LAN and WAN, micro-computers and supporting data communications architecture (hubs, gateways, routers, bridges, etc.), and other systems and components of the LAN/WAN. Works with Windows hardware consisting of such things as fiber optic networks, Ethernet networks, and other network interface units. I also train soldiers in how to properly execute their job. I am the lead TACLANE technician for all of South Korea for the Army. When someone has issues and requires help they contact the Regional Network Enterprise Center and the RNEC sends them to me to troubleshoot. I also support the United Nations and United States Forces in Korea Commander to include all units under him, 8th ARMY, USFK, 2ID, 35ADA, 501st MI and their units below them.
