Responsible for a team of tradesmen building an ergonomic live aboard boat taking a risk averse approach to project planning.Managing external suppliers to ensure time and material costs are kept within budget and delivered when expected.Responsible for ensuring communication channels are kept open throughout the project milestones, to ensure transparency from start to finish.

Managing a team of up to 4 skilled tradesmen to complete restorations (largely exterior) on over 150 airstream trailers, in several countries around the world. Having found a niche in the market during University, I founded our small team of technicians and through trial and error, we optimised our unique process that allowed us to provide a service that would normally take weeks in a matter of days.Working abroad with specialised equipment provided a lot of experience in terms of problem solving, logistics and interacting with suppliers and clients. As a lot of these projects were relatively expensive and quite the dream for a lot of our clients, careful management of expectations, constant communication and confidence in the team we cultivated was essential.

Responsible for the delivery of bespoke furnishings, produced in Armenia for American clients. Managing several large orders from design to delivery of fragile bespoke products and then continuing to provide post delivery support. Responsible for communicating project progress to global stakeholders and local suppliers. Working with cultural differences and language barriers, whilst furthering my own knowledge of the products. Making extra efforts to achieve this by taking language classes in the evenings.Developing a lean project plan that allows for unforeseen circumstances. Closely monitoring and reporting on milestones during the entirety of the project. Building Gantt charts in Microsoft Project as a primary method of documenting and sharing progress.Close monitoring and having a technical academic background helped in my ability to asses the capabilities of different manufacturers, rather than relying on potentially unreliable assurances from new suppliers in an unfamiliar environment.
