I have taught Computer Science and ICT for about 10 years with an excellent track record of amazing results that has earned me some awards in the schools where I teach. I was among the top 10 in 2018 Inspirational Educators Award (INSEA). I have a passion for learning as well as learning how to learn. This has driven me into making researches in the neuroscience of learning and brain friendly teaching techniques. So far, I have acquired a lot of skills that has positively influenced the way I teach and the results are remarkable. For instance, using brain friendly teaching skills, I could make my students remember any information for as long as they want to, by helping them to easily transfer information from their short term memory (STM) to long term memory (LTM) in a very short time. This learning ability is what I strongly believe every student needs. I have created a number of teaching materials that enhances students' concentration during lessons. This I would continue to do in order to address the greatest enemy of learning which lack of attention is. I have done some studies on the human brain and what happens in our brain when we try to learn something new. It’s quite amazing. My whole teaching experience has taken a new turn. I am compelled to become more creative and innovative in my teaching approach so as to always be able to put a square peg in a square hole when it comes to delivering my lessons. I feel struggling to teach is unnecessary when you know how to pass information to the learner in the most compatible way the brain is designed to learn.I am an educational facilitator.
