I understand the meaning and value of customer service and quality. I offer a wealth of knowledge and experience in my 26 years in the railroad industry. From working in a high volume industrial railroad operation in Cincinnati; to working as a Class 1 railroad employee; to owning and operating private railway passenger equipment; to managing the startup of a new 24 mile shortline railroad; to managing a tourist/freight railroad that safely handled 340,000 passengers and approximately 300 carloads of freight through the online transload freight site in one year. I professionally started off in the industry in 1997 as a mechanic and locomotive hostler, to become a conductor & engineer, to eventually becoming a manager in the industry starting with the family business doing multiple functions to support private equipment owners and short line railroads. To managing shortline freight railroad, to tourist/freight railroad, to managing the operations of tourist railroad operating on a Class 2 Regional Carrier. I have managed track projects in the past with grant funding from the State of Ohio. So I have an understanding of FRA track codes and RWP programs to protect workers. I have also been involved in creating and managing the following CFR 49 Part 214, 217/218, 219, 220, 232, 240, & 242 programs.
