About Christopher Egan

“War is ninety percent information.” Napoleon BonaparteAlthough Napoleon lived long before the information age, he understood the importance of information. Victory on the battlefield depended upon an efficient system for gathering, managing, and analyzing information. I have dedicated my career to that kind of strategic information management.Throughout my career, I have sought better ways to manage the information around me. As a CPA, I created templates that converted financial accounting data into tax return entries. As a trial attorney and eDiscovery counsel, I used litigation technology to manage and analyze large sets of digital files and information. Today, I direct a group of professionals dedicated to strategically governing an AmLaw 100 law firm's information. We assess new matters, manage records, set data protection policies, and develop information systems. Our governance drives three core values: transparency, efficiency, and legal compliance. If you love information as much as I do, message me. I’m always looking to discuss ideas with other information professionals.
