Responsible for 1 compression hub 6 NUI’s and a manned platform, duties include gas production optimisation, managing multiple work groups, up time reliability improvements and multiple KPI compliance, interfacing with regulatory bodies, reporting to regulatory bodies and ensuring the field operates with the requirements of the Safety Management Systems.

Managing a multi cultural team of people on an offshore gas production platform during the final stages of production and into decommissioning. Work included integrating a diverse team of people unfamiliar with offshore and decommissioning work to enable the safe isolation and abandonment of systems enabling an innovative piece small removal of the structures. Challenges included developing new efficient ways of enabling work activities whilst minimising risk and environmental impact and ensuring safety systems and utilities are sufficient to support the activites.

Uk Sns Offshore

Coordinating maintenance, operation and project activities, covering for OIM, maximising production, leading improvement initiatives and improvement / modification program as well as corporate compliance and root cause analysis studies, managing multi discipline work groups. Offshore focal point for platform decommissioning activities.

Support role for operations superintendent and interface between projects, drilling, maintenance and production. Giving technical, operational and maintenance feedback as well as operational integrity, compliance and cover offshore. Actively involved in audits, contracts and KPI compliance.

Managing multi discipline work groups including vendors and projects, ensuring plant reliability and maintenance compliance is maximised, shutdowns turnaround and project planning, breakdown and plant improvement modifications, personnel competency and training and part of installation management team.

Sakhalin Region, Russian Federation

Leading a multi discipline team on a remote location in Russia throughout the commissioning and start up phase of the Dekastri marine terminal. This included training and competency of operations team, procedure drafting, commissioning and first oil, system handover and integration from construction to a fully operational site.

Temporary assignment to coordinate the total oil and gas shutdown of the Beryl Alpha platform and associated work activities.

Leading a feasibility study for the reduced manning of the Thames Alpha compression platform and associated fields. Numerous production reliability modifications and improvements were implemented following this study and report. Additional duties during assignment included OIM cover.

Controlling the maintenance and maintenance personnel for the Thames compression platform and 7 NUI's (normally unattended installation). I also provided cover for the OIM and was seconded into the office to assist with ExxonMobils acquisition of Thames operation.
