Quality Assurance Technician
CurrentI supervise both service and lab components of our Indianapolis branch office. I make sure we meet deadlines and Turnaround Times (TAT). We are an 17025 ISO Approved lab, so it falls on me to make sure that that approval continues. Track all NIST calibrations of lab equipment. Helps to hire employees, and in charge of Training program, both instituting and continuing. Work to promote from within with existing employees. I keep meticulous training binders and information on all jobs, and track all cylinder data for ISO and NIST purposes. I started the current training program and update it on an ongoing basis. I supervise the customer service administrators to make sure they have all the information they need and are kept up to date on current products and procedures. I handle conflict resolution and HR related issues as well, since no direct supervisors above me are on site on a continual basis. I travel as needed for meetings, training courses, and on site recertifications of our equipment that we do in-house.
