- Produce two weekly Mining schedule/plan to achieve the 3-Monthly plan and quaterly forecasts - Provide Mine Production crews technical quidelines and clearly communicate for effective implementation of the weekly mining plan and achieving pit designs.- Liase with the Dewatering crews to construct pit dewatering plan to control surface run-offs and ground water from affecting the weekly mining activities- Review the weekly mining Plan in actual performance against plan in terms of bench development,face positions, material movement, equipment productivity and explaining the variances- End of Month (EOM) Reporting (Data compilation, verify data with Survey, Dispatch & Mine Geology) - Carry out final bench development sign-off/wall sign offs and recommend necessary remedial actions such as toe blast,wall scaling and floor clean-up, prior to final sign-off- Acitively taking part in blast master discussions to get blasting and mining sequence right to move foward- Design Works include: * Low & medium grade Ore stockpile build designs & plans * Low & medium grade Ore stockpile reclaim designs & plans * ROM Designs * Modify Pit Designs and do ore reserve calculation for the modified design and . verify the design change in memorandum and communicate it to stakeholders * Slip remediation designs & plans - Provide Production crews technical guidelines and maintain clear communication for effective and proper implementation of stockpiles to design and waste dumps to design.- Mentor Graduate engineers in Short term Planning engineering section.- Conduct safety observations and hazard Identification and report them at mine production meetings

- Emulsion Plant: - Assited the plant crew members to to produce Ammonium Nitrate Solution, the Fuel Phase and mixing them to produce ANFO _ Assisted the Laboratory technician in doing QC test for the Ammonium Nitrate solutions and the final product ANFOBlasting Crews: - Did priming and charging the Blast holes - Measured the explosive charge length - Stemming of Balst holes - Did Explosive density checks every after 2 holes during day of blast - Did blast tie-ups following the design tie-up plan and assisted firing the pattern using the remote initiation system.
