Spearhead coordination of new advanced lab in Taiwan for efficient defect parts per million (DPPM) reduction and customer RMA investigations. Identify lab equipment needs, installation and set-up priorities, new hire training, and overall direction of testing. Oversee cross-functional team of 30 engineers and managers across departments in India, Taiwan, and USA. Directed lab bring-up activities, budgeting, reporting, and process improvements.♦ Oversee Taiwan lab with 13 full-time employees, $3M+ budget for bring-up activities, and ongoing budget management of $1M+ per year.♦ Reduced testing turnaround time to just 48 hours by establishing a 4000 sq. ft. advanced lab space, streamlining the testing process, and increasing content coverage 2.5 – 3x.♦ Tripled defects found by doubling test content runtime per part and total number of parts tested.♦ Achieved 25% reduction in test time for all parts from start to finish (4000 parts tested over 4.5 months vs. 2000 parts tested over 6 months.)♦ Foster strong collaboration between international engineering groups by conducting meetings, setting direction for new tests and investigations.♦ Partner with Engineering and Program Management VP to define lab duties, KPIs, and SOW. Work with ATE and SLT teams to track release of new test vectors to production environments.♦ Present key insights to leadership by using PowerBI dashboards and PowerPoint. Combine and clean multiple data sources using Power BI, Excel, PowerQuery, JIRA, and SQL ODBC connections. ♦ Improve product quality by managing high-volume validation testing for new premium-tier chipsets prior to customer delivery.♦ Track defective part testing through root cause analysis, coordinating RMA investigations with customer-facing and RMA engineers.♦ Resolve recurring issues by collaborating with chipset design and failure analysis engineers, creating PowerBI dashboards to combine SalesForce data with RMA engineering activities.
