Current➤ Coming aboard the 4-star Mountainside Residential Care Center as an Administrator-in-Training from October 2015 to March 2016, and then moved into the Nursing Home Administrator role in May 2016 for this US News and World Report top-rated nursing home.➤ Receiving the Woman's Choice Award in 2019, the Eli-Pick Leadership Award in 2017, and the Woman's Choice Award 2017, as well as proactively pushing for professional advancement and undertaking the Foundation for Quality of Care Advanced Administrators Training in 2018.➤ Acting as the Administrator of the facility, ultimately responsible for all patient care and business decisions, while managing the day-to-day operations and keeping the organization on track for its long-term goals and mission.➤ Serving as an agent of change, launching and executing protocols in accordance with Federal and State laws, as well as developing solutions to facility problems or compliance breaches, enabling smooth running both as a business and a haven of compassionate care.➤ Spearheading efforts to guarantee that the buildings and equipment are safe for residents and staff, delegating necessary maintenance personnel to remedy any potential issues in a quick, effective manner.➤ Serving as the residents' primary advocate, acting as the liaison between staff and doctors to ensure quality care, communicating instructions or results from both parties and ensuring frequent visits from Physicians and Nurses.➤ Utilizing effective communication skills to navigate the emotional dynamics associated with counseling residents and families in the transition to nursing home care, while collaborating with families on a care plan and associated costs, and providing resources for the grieving process.
