As a computer engineering student at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, I am pursuing my passion for origami engineering and space exploration. I am expected to graduate in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, and I have also completed two associate's degrees in computer engineering and electrical engineering from San Bernardino Valley College.Since 2015, I have been working as an intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where I apply my origami engineering skills to design, test, fold, and manufacture large deployables for space missions. I have contributed to multiple projects that require high precision, accuracy, and creativity, such as designing origami fold patterns, fixtures, and processes that meet the tight tolerances and specifications for various applications. I have also supported the mass production and inventory management of critical parts, using Microsoft Excel and leadership skills. I am proficient in 3D computer aided design (3D CAD), Solidworks, and robotics, and I have obtained a certification in oral dissemination of research. I value teamwork, innovation, and excellence, and I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the organization.
