As the Health & Safety and Facilities Manager, I oversee the effective management and development of all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) aspects of our business. Reporting to the Director of Facilities, I ensure that our workplace is safe and compliant with all relevant regulations, while also embedding HSE best practices.In my role, I manage building maintenance, services, and security, driving continuous improvement projects that enhance operational efficiency and minimise environmental impact. I collaborate closely with the Events team to ensure the safe delivery of shows and exhibitions, and work with contractors and suppliers to maintain high performance standards. A key part of my responsibilities is developing and implementing HSE policies, leading audits, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. I also provide H&S training and support to colleagues, fostering a culture where safety is prioritized in every facet of the business.With a proactive and solution-focused approach, I am committed to driving the business forward, delivering strategies that align with our environmental and sustainability goals, and ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards.
