Currently, I work with the Adult and Career Education Center in Danville, Virginia as the Integrated Education and Training Planner. I work with business and industry, teachers, and colleges to provide job training to adult learners. Over the previous three years, I served as the Vice President of Academic Affairs (and chief academic officer) at Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis, Tennessee. The division of Workforce Training, Community Education and Economic Development, was also a division of Academic Affairs at Southwest Tennessee. The College serves over 13,000 students annually. During the previous ten year period, I served as the Vice President of Academic and Student Services for Danville Community College (DCC) in Virginia. Prior to DCC, I worked for twenty-five years with Vincennes University (VU) in Indiana and experienced continuous interaction with students, faculty, and staff as a professor, advisor, and chief administrator. I have also served as an adjunct instructor for Guilford Technical Community College in North Carolina, the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, and Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana.
