With over 20 years of experience in low carbon solutions, emission reduction, and CCUS projects, I am a Manager of Low Carbon Solutions at Mitsui E&P USA, a subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., one of the largest and most diversified trading and investment companies in the world. In this role, I lead the development and implementation of low carbon projects, leveraging my engineering background and my project management skills.I started my career in Japan at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities, supporting the origination and execution of CDM carbon credit transactions under the UNFCCC Kyoto Protocol. I then moved to Mitsui & Co., Ltd., where I managed the Emission Reductions Business Department, overseeing a portfolio of low carbon projects across various sectors and regions. I worked closely with LanzaTech in Chicago, Mitsui's Cameron LNG project in Louisiana and global E&P new venture development before joining Mitsui E&P USA in 2018, where I have worked on multiple E&P, CCUS and LCS projects, creating value for both business and the environment. I am fluent in Japanese and English, and have a keen interest in renewable energy, energy transition and climate change mitigation.
