CurrentWith over 25 years of Program Management experience, responsible for providing strategic direction on the Aerojet Superfund Site, including Agency negotiations, innovative remedial technology evaluation and implementation and optimization of remedial systems. Currently providing strategic direction to GenCorp’s land development company, Easton Development Company, during the integration of environmental constraints into large scale land development projects.Serves as Aerojet Rocketdyne’s worldwide technical marketing expert in the field of environmental remediation. He has marketed Aerojet Rocketdyne’s environmental remediation expertise in China, India, and France.Specific responsibilities include:Managing senior-level, multi-disciplinary teams to develop strategic programmatic approaches to complex environmental problems that have direct impact to Company bottom line.Understanding and integrating Regulatory Requirements to evaluate multi-variable environmental problems and developing and implementing long-term solutions that create a synergy between Agency requirements and Company strategic goals.Critically evaluate existing operational approaches to long term solutions and identify and integrate new approaches that reduce long-term Company liabilities, while maintaining the highest safety and ethical standards and ensuring protection of the environment.Evaluate and implement innovative technologies and cost savings/avoidance strategies. To date these strategies have resulted in over $30M in cost savings/avoidance for Aerojet Rocketdyne.Implement sustainability projects. Select projects include:Provide environmental support for the installation of a 6MW industrial scale solar system on Aerojet Rocketdyne’s Sacramento campusInstallation of energy efficient advanced oxidation systems, for which Aerojet Rocketdyne received the Sacramento Metropolitan Utility District Community Energy Award.
