SERS is the 3rd Largest Public Pension Fund in Ohio for the people who serve our schools. These typically involve people like bus drivers and Guidance Counselors. We serve the people who serve our schools by insuring they have the most up to date information and ensure they get the resources they need in a timely manner.As the IT Service Desk Administrator at SERS I am the first stop for any and all issues that pertain to IT in the environment. This has allowed me to gain a great deal of experience and with several different systems and also allowed me to work closely with Security Individuals within the company to ensure cutting edge security solutions.I own the entire service desk and strive to make improvements every day that improves and secures the organization that I am in. Ensuring great communication to the organization at large and ensuring the processes adhere to are a big part of my job and I also take pride in my strong troubleshooting skills and enjoy working with the security team to provide excellent security solutions to the organization.

I worked this internship in order to build my technology skills using a hands on method to supplant my at home learning using books and educational videos. Most of my time was spent upgrading the Cisco network infrastructure in the facility
