As an Employment Connections Lead at the WorkSource North Seattle, a sample of my activities includes:• Delivering career coaching and reemployment counseling to dozens of Seattle area job seekers each week, enabling them to enhance their careers or return to worthwhile and satisfying employment.• Facilitating several job-seeker workshops, including those on resume writing, skills analysis, career change, computer skills, and more, in order to assist clients in achieving their employment and career goals.• Employing change management techniques and training, as well as experience as a facilitator and change agent, to improve various processes and customer experience at WorkSource North Seattle.• Providing leadership and assistance to over a dozen staff in performing their various duties assisting job seekers, employers, and the community.

As the assistant librarian for Challenger Elementary School, a few of my many responsibilities included:• Independently managing day-to-day library operations.• Designing and developing library-simulation e-Learning programs for library volunteers.• Continually training and monitoring student volunteers to properly assist in library operations.• Intensely partnering with library and school staff to improve library services and harmonize those services with school and student needs.Of course, my favorite part has been reaching out to the kids, making the library a warm and welcoming place, and instilling a love of books and reading, especially by sitting them down and reading a fun story for them!
