I worked in the QA Chemistry Lab at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics. The lab is a GLP/GMP lab where I have been apart of raw material, final product, bulk, and stability testing. During my time at OCD, I have been trained on UV-VIS Spectrometry, FTIR Spectroscopy, TruScan Raman Spectrometry, and have also been trained on HPLC, GC and LC-MS test methods using Empower 3 software. I have been apart of many projects that have required the use of excel, logged in chemicals while also disposing of the expired ones, and worked with raw material retains. I have interned in the Anatomic Pathology and Formulations Departments, during two summers and winters at Novartis. During the summers and winters my responsibilities were to help set up the labs before the studies and help clean up after, wet tissue bagging, miscellaneous work, labeling test tubes and jars, and filling jars for wet tissue collection.
