Responsibilities include:● Preparation of monthly management accounts. Lead responsibility for the end-to-end monthly management reporting for both the EMEA and APAC regions (17 legal entities) of Acuris, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review and detailed commentary and analysis against budget. ● Preparation, review and approval of payroll reports across multiple jurisdictions. Including calculation and ownership of commission schemes. ● Successfully led the finance integration following multiple acquisitions within the Acuris Group. This included training and on-boarding of new staff, integrating finance software and processes, identifying synergies and delivering process improvements which resulted in enhanced reporting efficiency and outputs. ● Managed the implementation of Sage People / Fairsail to report on the Group's global headcount budget. Approximately 1,600 staff.● Designed and developed new reports in Oracle R12 ERP to improve and automate balance sheet reconciliations. ● Preparation of Group and Company statutory financial statements. Acted as the main liaison point with auditors to ensure clean audit opinion is delivered in a timely manner. Experienced using Thomson Reuters OneSource software and Excel to produce financial statements.● Calculation and preparation of UK Group VAT, GST, EC Sales, Corporate Income Tax and Royalty Tax filings. Lead responsibility for implementing the Making Tax Digital reforms to submit Group VAT returns in 2021. ● Managed a team of seven based in Hong Kong, Singapore and China whilst Financial Controller for Asia Pacific, which included regular international travel. Presently leading a team of five in the London based EMEA finance function.
