As Co-Founder and Executive Director of FCLC, I provide professional development workshops for educators, parents, and organizations integrating strategies to build democratic leadership and equitable, inclusive communities which embrace diversity. FCLC is committed to providing transformative democratic strategies for parents, educators and leaders to create equitable and productive communities in their homes, schools and organizations. FCLC is an inter-generational team undertaking the founding of a K-12 community school committed to providing 21st century learning predicated on global, ecological and anti-oppression foundations. The school will serve low-income families of color as well as middle/upper income families who are committed to doing the anti-oppression work on race and class privilege, in particular, but on all "-isms" in general) required to build a truly diverse community. The school will build on the work of Dr. Alfred Adler, Dr, Rudolf Dreikurs, Paolo Freire, and Myles Horton who co-founded the Highlander School.

Act as a consultant and thought leader on inclusive leadership. Develop inclusive leaders forcompetitive and collaborative advantage. Provide on-site workshops and one-on-one executive coaching to enable leaders to deliver a unique complement of services to enhance the impact and scope of their leadership and influence.

Direct non-profit organization committed to empower young people to become global leaders in creating a just and sustainable future. Increased: budget from $80K to $1 million; employees from 1 to 15; students served annually from 30 to 4700; annual scholarships from $0 to $165K. Lead strategic planning. Design and lead high school leadership program cultural immersion, social justice and environmental service work in Central America and in Seattle. Lead fund development. Develop strategic partnerships with NGOs in Guatemala and Washington state. Designed Global Leadership Course now offered in Seattle Public Schools.

Teach Spanish Language through Experience and Leadership Practice/Application for participants of Global Visionaries program.

Taught Spanish at 6th -9th grade incorporating newly adopted TPR Storytelling curriculum. Mentored new teachers and helped articulate new district language goals.

Taught all levels of Spanish. Led SAVE, the environmental club which brought recycling and two Chicagoland Youth Environmental Summits. Led AFS (American Field Service) and Freshman Student Government.

Co-directed/organized two youth organized international conferences which brought 600 high school students from 32 countries and 40 States for education, community leadership skills and direct action. Supervised fundraising, media, participant and speaker selection, home stays, transportation, logistics.

Instructed first and second year Spanish language drill classes.
