Christopher has been an active litigation lawyer for more than 40 years, specializing in life and general insurance claims. He regularly advises and represents insurance companies and takaful operators on all aspects of insurance law: from agency-related work to defending claims in court; he especially considers life insurance and takaful law to be an area of practice he is well-versed in and very comfortable with. Aside from litigation, Christopher's experience includes drafting policy contracts, takaful certificates and all types of insurance and takaful-related agreements and documents; the first investment-linked policy document in Malaysia was drafted by him. He frequently conducts legal clinics on developments in insurance law for both management and agency personnel.Christopher’s practice also consists of all levels of investment management, unit trust and trustee-related work with clients from across the whole spectrum of the finance and investment universe, both local and foreign: banks, unit trust management companies, asset management companies, fund managers and trustee companies. He has also successfully represented clients in this area of practice in the courts.
