About Christopher Ford
Having started my working career as a Fitness Instructor, I felt that I needed to do more. I became a Special Constable (volunteer Police Officer) with Avon and Somerset Constabulary which I completed 3 1/2 years before relocating to Oxfordshire to become a regular Police Constable with Thames Valley Police.I took the opportunity to relocate again but this time to join WA Police. I graduated from the Academy as a First Class Constable before being promoted to Senior Constable and on occasions Acting Sergeant. Having been to hundreds of incidents of both simple in nature and both physically and mentally damaging to those involved and Police themselves, I moved away from front line after 12 years to become a Driver Trainer, teaching the recruits to drive with lights and sirens concentrating on risk assessments and driving safely. Having taken a career break from Policing, I am keen to continue investigative work or similar in Perth or surrounding areas.
