“Known for hardwork, I give more than I get.”I apply this statement to everything I do, this statement is a major driver in my athletic, and academic career. In everything I do I apply this statement. Whether its a small project or a large project I always do more than expected. Athletics have been a major part of my life and I have gained many skills and a lot of character from the hard-work I put into it. I learned how to communicate with others, and how to win and lose as a team. Athletics forced me to push myself further than I would have and I have since benefited from that. Due to my competitive nature I think athletics have helped me be prepared for the fast past competitive world that we live in. The struggles I have endured in athletics, such as being cut from my high school baseball team, have only inspired me to prove people wrong. I did this by playing collegiate level baseball an opportunity that less than 1% of the people in my position can accomplish. The statement above rings more and more true for me because it applies to me and the things I have been through more than anything else, and it always reminds me that to achieve what I want I need to give my all and then some. I dedicate myself to whatever job lies ahead of me and ensure that it is completed to the best of my ability and constantly striving for more. This goes hand in hand with my work ethic and ability to maintain a level head in fast paced work environments as well as being a capable employee that uses my problem solving abilities, organizational skills, as well as, various other skills I have learned throughout my life that makes me an ideal person for any job or task presented to me.
