As part of the sale of the industry titles from Are Media to Prime Creative Media I am working on migrating all of the services and product to the new company.I am also providing maintenance for the existing Prime Creative Media WordPress sites

After Bauer was sold to Mercury Capital we formed a new company called Are Media. Notably I provided the ongoing support and maintenance of all of the Bauer sites while the revamped www.whichcar.com.au site was developed. Once the MVP was launched I moved to continuous development on the new site.My general responsibilities were not changed. I developed and maintained innovative, scalable and responsive websites. Snowy Peaks is a company that I have set up to manage and organize my free-lancing business. It has been employed by various professors at Swinburne university. Currently I am working on a confidential matter part-time.As part of this I have engaged in:- Negotiating services and payment.- Managing other freelance programmers that I hired as needed.- Managing the projects undertaken.- And finally doing the programming, testing and deployment for the projects undertaken projects.

As part of my masters degree I undertook a 3 month internship (2 days a week) at Metrix Group. During this time the team and I developed a web application for automated quotes of manufacturing products. To do this we used WordPress as the platform, plus a couple of plugins. My responsibility was the front-end UI and I also developed a number of back-end features. Most of the back-end code focused on either SQL calls or wp-ajax integration. At completion of the internship a successful demonstration was developed for Metrix Group.

I am employed as a tutor for Usability. As such I teach a class of 24 for 12 weeks on the basics of usability. This involves: helping students develop their prototypes, testing the prototypes, and teaching them how to conduct ethical usability testing. Additionally I marking the students portfolios which counted for 40% of their grade.

This was a 2 ½ month contract undertaken between my university break. I worked in Nursing and Midwifery Education Strategy (NaMES) department, supporting both the educators and the department director. This included:-Scheduling and logging all clinical training for nursing staff,-General administration of running an office, -Answering queries in relation to graduate nursing placement, and training, -Updating various website pages,-and minute taking. I also provided IT set up and support for the Director and Executive Director of Nursing’s interactive seminars across the main sites of Monash Health.
