I am a Board Member and Non Executive Director . Prior to this I was the Chief Executive Officer, Southeast Asia at JLL for 17 years responsible for the growth and performance of the JLL business in the region. I was also a member of JLL’s Asia Pacific Executive Board.I joined JLL in 2006 and helped acquire and sell on behalf of clients more than S$30 billion worth of commercial real estate in Singapore, Asia and the UK. I have also assisted with the leasing over 40 million square feet of office, retail and industrial space, and spearheaded the development, analysis and marketing of over 60 major commercial developments . I started my career in 1985 in London as an undergraduate at Barclays Bank, where I spent a year on a team responsible for the property management of the bank’s real estate portfolio. After graduating I joined Savills in London as a graduate surveyor . I moved to Singapore in 1989 to join CBRE where I spent the next 14 years . In 2003 I earned an MBA at the University of Chicago , after which I moved to Tokyo to take up the role of President and CEO of CBRE Japan which I held until 2006. I was a board member of Sentosa Development Corporation in Singapore from 2009 to 2015 and the Global Vice President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) from 2011 to 2014. I was also a member of the Global Remuneration Committee for the RICS between 2014 to 2021.
