I am a wildlife photographer and videographer and studying BA(Hons) Wildlife Media at the University of Cumbria and aspire to become a Natural History Camera Operator. I started life out as a devoted artist, taking interest in painting and drawing the natural world, this has given me an attention to detail which I implore in my media craft. Before university I worked as a care assistant where I developed many interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills. My photography and videography skills not only came from my artistic background but also from experience of many years in the field both for wildlife photography and bird and wildlife watching. I have continued these skills through my studies at UOC and have acquired more knowledge of animal behaviour and media industry knowledge. University has given me chance to connect with professionals in the industry; for the past year I have working alongside Terry Abraham on his upcoming production "Cumbrian Red".
