As an intern I worked as an automation engineer on a contract with Baxter Bioscience. I worked exclusively in DeltaV for this contract and during this time I coded for process phases, operations, unit procedures, and procedures, did code testing on equipment module instances, process phases, operations, unit procedures, and procedures, and configured some equipment module instances. During this time I was also involved in the writing and execution of technical documents and was largely responsible for gathering together the appropriate documents for the closing out of open change controls.

I worked for the summer as an intern and I performed the duties of an automation engineer on a contract with Merck. As an automation engineer I worked exclusively in DeltaV, in which I coded for process recipes, updated on-screen process graphics, and performed various code testing. During this time I worked on-site at the Merck plant in Elkton, Virginia, and went through plant safety training as well as Jacobs safety training. I have experience with the writing and execution of technical documents such as change controls and phase failure testing. I worked with bulk edit files for large changes that needed to be made to the DeltaV database.
