I recently retired from the US Air Force after 12 years. In that time I managed food service operations, lodging operations, and mortuary affairs operations both stateside and deployed. Food Service- Ran a dining facility responsible for feeding all Amn on base. Created schedules, coordinated leave and deployments for 40 people. Worked closely with fly squadrons to ensure meals were prepared and delivered. Worked extensively with food vendors to maintain an in house stock worth $100k.Mortuary- During this time, I was responsible for responding to any deaths related to American contractors and military wile overseas. I was directly in charge of recovering the remains, completing paperwork, coordinating flights and services, and getting the remains repatriated to the loved ones back home. Most recently I was Military Training Instructor (Drill Sergeant) at Lackland AFB in Texas.As an MTI, I turn civilian men and women into Airmen through a rigorous 8 week training course. I teach the basics of drill, marching, discipline, and basic Air Force knowledge. When the Airmen graduate, they are confident, capable, and ready to move on to further training with the knowledge that they can and will succeed I have received my Bachelors degree from Trident University International in Science in Leadership with an concentration in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am currently working on my Masters in Homeland Security with a concentration in Natural Disaster Logistics from TUI.
