Oversight of Fiscal Policy for Housing, Labor, Public Workforce, General and Local Government for the State Senate Democratic Conference

•Portfolio includes Senate standing committees on Housing, Labor, Civil Service and Pensions, Ethics, Governmental Operations, Investigations and Government, Cities I and II•Provide detailed analysis of the Executive Budget in relevant areas, convene working groups with Senators and staff in formulating the One-House budget, subsequently negotiating on behalf of the Democratic Conference to finalize an Enacted Budget.• Meeting with various unions, advocacy groups, and lobbyists on behalf of the Democratic Conference to finalize legislation and budgetary policy.•Drafting memorandums and reports for presentation to the Conference to inform policy and budgetary priorities.•Communicate regularly with Senators and their staff, Agency staff, and portfolio counterparts.

Senior Budget Analyst for the New York State Senate Finance Committee Majority Conference. Duties include budgeting for the Senate Committees on Labor, Housing Construction and Community Development, and Civil Service and Pensions as well as legislative analysis and recommendations for bills concerning these issue areas.

Portfolio Includes:-New York State Division of the Budget - Budget and Analysis-New York State Executive Chamber - Budget and Analysis-New York State Office of the Lieutenant Governor - Budget and Analysis-Procurement, Purchasing, and MWBE (Minority and Women Owned Business) compliance-Other Finance and Budget Office responsibilities as needed
