Conduct ongoing research on C. elegans-4176, to give insight for neurodegenerative diseases. Examining the insulin/ IGF-1 (IIS) metabolic pathway by knocking down genes responsible for prolonged lifespan and confirming the results with RT-PCR, using the RNase-free technique.

Responsible for preparing chemicals, laboratory set-ups, and validating all experiments for PSU’s Environmental Chemistry course.

In charge of Plymouth State University’s ACS chapter’s funding and purchasing. Help conduct biweekly meeting, set up volunteering events, and fundraising.

Collected data by banding and determining the breeding success rate of Canada Warblers (CAWA), and bleed CAWAs for a genoscape project conducted at UCLA. Assisted a graduate’s thesis project by banding birds and reporting their GPS coordinates, breeding status, and nest sites.
