Provide direct oversight of design, construction, and operation of the the Rivers and Estuaries Observatory Network (REON), a real-time monitoring network comprised of 40 nodes distributed throughout the Hudson River Water Shed to collect hydrology, water quality, and meteorological data. Serve as Co-PI on "Lake Sturgeon Spawning Habitat Characterization" and "Climate Change and Water Quality-Impacts and Adaptation Strategies for NYS Utilities" projects funded by USEPA and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, respectfully. Responsible for development of Quality Assurance Project Plans; management of field studies involving hydrographic surveys for water quality and hydrodynamics; continuous hydrologic monitoring; river discharge measurements; and developing discharge rating curves.

Managed CODAR (HFRadar) network that provided real time ocean current data to NOAA's National Data Buoy Center. Also managed the Shoreline Environmental Research Facility (SERF) in Corpus Christi where the primary mission to conduct oil spill fate and effects studies. Responsibilities at SERF included operation and maintenance of wave tank, water treatment systems, research vessels, and research instrumentation. Managed all aspects of environmental compliance including permit applications, amendments, and reporting for industrial waste water, air emissions, and hazardous waste permits.

Project manager: Provided current monitoring services for deep water oil drilling and production platforms as required by MMS. Client list included: BP, ConocoPhilips, Murphy Oil. Current monitoring systems were predominantly Teledyne RDI Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers.
