During my time Bentley University, I was promoted to Senior Assitant Director of Admissions. This position allowed me to learn about the intricacies of college admissions and grow as a higher education professional. My main responsibilities included reading applications, interviewing prospective students, conducting information sessions and managing a regional territory. I am currently the representative for Bergen County, NJ, Greater Princeton, NJ and the South Shore of Massachusetts. Additionally, I had the pleasure of managing 72 tour guides that are a part of our ambassador program.

When I began at Bentley, I was in the role of Assistant Director of Admissions. This position allowed me to learn about the intricacies of college admissions and to grow as a higher education professional. My main responsibilities included reading applications, interviewing prospective students, conducting information sessions and managing a regional territory. During this time period I was the main recruiter in New Jersey, an area that has seen nice growth in our applicant pool. I also had a hand in athletic recruitment and the management of over 80 student workers in our office.

I interviewed over 500 prospective students each year and advised them throughout their college search. I also coordinated group visits to Quinnipiac's campus for 100 schools, community based organizations and after-school programs. Additionally, I would conduct information sessions for groups of up to 100 students and their families and helped to grow the "Day Visit" program for accepted Seniors interested in shadowing a current Bobcat.

I established positive relationships with my residents in order to help them with any academic, social or personal issues that they were dealing with. I would also plan fun and informative programs that would enhance their experience in the residence halls.

This was one of my favorite positions in college because I got to show prospective students and their families around Quinnipiac. In addition to giving tours I answered phone calls, assisted with office projects and organized student's application documents.

I interned for Sports Media 101 during the summer prior to my Senior year of college. This was a great experience which allowed me to practice my writing and research skills and gain experience in managing a social media account.
