CurrentAs one of the Managing Partners of a thoughtful firm of educators trained at the doctoral level, duties are aligned with my expertise is guiding multicultural initiatives in education through honest and vulnerable conversations, utilizing research and experience to help organizations make better decisions. Through my work as an African American educator, I lead initiatives by leveraging my expertise and connecting to organizations that seek the cultural capital I carry in order to fill cultural and anti-racist gaps. In my work, I lead initiatives that provide individualized support, guidance, and advocacy for companies, educational entities, school districts, students and parents globally by conducting onsite visits to observe behaviors, formulate assessments and collaborate with administrators, faculty and other stakeholders.• Enlisted by school district in California with 35K+ students to promote/provide DEI education and work to confront, challenge and dispel systemic racial biases in order to create a safe environment for both staff and students. • Enlisted by Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company of more than 250 employees in California to create and develop policy and instruction geared to benefit and educate on students of color and students with developmental and learning disabilities. • Enlisted by largest public school district in Tennessee to analyze and overhaul discipline and truancy policies in order to apply restorative justice over punitive administrative actions effectively saving the district over $150k annually. • Helped talented and high-achieving immigrant student thrive in an inclusive setting; overturned school district’s initial recommendation to send him to an off-campus location ($35K/year in expenses) based on an inaccurate diagnosis of behavioral problems coupled with an extreme lack of cultural empathy.
