Power Systems Engineer

- Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, daily logs, site work photos, and change orders- Supervise and direct project activities including planning and coordinating, resolving problem areas, ensuring all project policies, procedures, and standards are maintained- OSHA 30 Certified: Oversee all labor is conducted in a safe manner according to OSHA standards- Conduct subcontractor outreach acquiring/qualifying proposals for every trade aspect for bidding of projects

- Perform materials testing services for soil (soil classification, maximum dry density, sand equivalent, sieve analysis, plastic/liquid limits), reinforcing steel (tensile, bend), concrete (compression, slump and air content shrinkage), masonry (mortar/grout compression), and asphalt (Hveem stability, Rice specific gravity)- Collect on-site samples such as soils and cores (testing and sampling in accordance to AASHTO/ASTM/Caltrans)- Manage, maintain, and revise report database utilizing MetaField to ensure quality for technicians and managers- Exposure to roof load testing for installation of solar panels, nuclear density gauge testing, and inspection of shotcrete

- Assist project managers in creating a master utility plan

- Provide math tutoring for Las Positas’ new program offered to Livermore high school students of all levels of math

- Provide excellent customer service

- Conduct individualized tutorial sessions for student in Grade 6; determine what skill areas require additional assistance- Maintain all records required to document student's academic progress

- Provide private instruction to individual in high-school Geometry/Trigonometry to improve academic performance
