Part of the VINCI group, we are a UKAS accredited facility involved in material, component and compliance testing across the energy, construction and real estate sectors. Our 60 strong team of engineers are either site based, working on projects throughout the UK or based at our 6 hectare facility/laboratories in Leighton Buzzard. Our expertise includes building condition surveys, material analysis for reuse and infrastructure projects, performance mock ups, Passivhaus air tightness testing, CWCT facade weathertightness testing and building defect investigations, using some of the latest technologies to minimise cost and disruption.

An architectural practice with 12 offices around the world. My role was to collaborate with the market leaders across a number of industry sectors, to identify opportunities at the right margin and then produce relevant and compelling proposals to win work. Other areas I was involved in included: - Attending relevant networking events- Identifying potential market leads- Market positioning- Determining if we bid for an opportunity or not- Collaborating with the design teams to interpret client briefs- Delivering bid responses- Delivering interview presentation material- Asking for feedback and reporting back to the directors on successes or lessons learned- Collaborating with our global offices and strategic account teams on best practice- Collaborating with our EMEA partner firm network on joint ventures- Updating client contacts and opportunities on the CRM system- Generating marketing and revenue reports from the CRM system- Updating marketing collateral such as BIM, BREEAM and LEED information- CHAS and Constructionline Applications and Renewal

Working closely with the sector leaders and partners I successfully generated revenue for the firm by building trust and establishing close working relationships with new clients that included The National Deaf Children’s Society, The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, Reddie and Grose (patents and trademark attorneys) and Cabrini Children’s Society. I also worked on all tenders, bids and presentation within the firm and played a key part in developing the firm's client relationship management database and employer protection scheme.
