Working for British Airways I completed various mandatory training courses and progressed to Senior Cabin Crew (SCCM) working on both short and long haul flights around the world. The role of SCCM is that of a professional, multifunctional cabin crew role which can involve leading some flights in charge. As an On-board Team Leader I was responsible for the safety, security and comfort of passengers and other staff whilst delivering British Airway’s world class customer service. In a senior capacity I had additional responsibilities for being in charge when the Cabin Manager was on break/gone sick, liaising directly with the Flight Crew, taking flights out in charge when needed and directing and motivating the other cabin crew members. As crew we are required to have the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult/emergency situations as well as deliver a unique BA service across many types of aircraft and cabins.• First Class trained• First Aid/Aviation Medicine trained• Fire/evacuation trained
