Based in Nhulunbuy and representing the Northern Territory Department of Tourism, Business and Industry, this role description is outlined as below: Primary Objective: Contribute to the delivery of economic development priorities and outcomes by providing support to the Regional Economic Development Committee and collaboratively delivering on a range of projects specifically designed to drive economic growth of the East Arnhem region.Key Duties and Responsibilities:1. Provide support and manage activities associated with the Regional Economic Development Committee.2. In consultation with the Regional Executive Director identify and project manage various agreed strategic economic development initiatives for the region.3. Collaboratively and proactively strengthen working relationships and networks with the private sector and all tiers of Government.4. Undertake research and prepare briefings across a range of issues impacting on the economic development of the region.5. Facilitate a range of consultations for stakeholders and client groups to inform policy development
