• As Second-in-Command (2I/C) of the Joint Personnel Recovery Centre (JPRC) I am responsible to SO2 JPR for the following;
• Support the development and delivery of the JPRC, ensuring SOPs are in place and Ops Controller personnel and J3 Operational Team (OT) staff are trained and exercised in execution of Actions On in line with UK Policy.
• Be the PJHQ J3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) for report/locate in-service equipment (PLBs and BUSH NANO).
• Manage the in-service equipment and systems for reporting and locating deployed personnel with primary responsibility for the issues/receipts, accounting, testing and maintaining of the PLB stock.
• Support SO2 JPR Project Manager for bringing in to service the next generation of PLB system.
• Conduct Force Protection (FP)/JPR recces as part of a PJHQ J3 recce team as required.

RAF High Wycombe

• The Command Duty Operations Centre (CDOC), based at RAF High Wycombe exists to provide effective 24hr Air Staff support to plan, monitor, direct, integrate and co-ordinate air operational capability employed in the UK.
• Acting as a Headquarters (HQ) Air Command focal point, with Unit Commanders for current operational matters, in the UK and Overseas.
• Providing a preliminary interface with external organisations and co-ordinating the delivery and sustainment of RAF Air Power.
• Acting as the HQ Air Command Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for Chief of Defence Staff Duty Officer (CDSDO)
• Acting as the HQ Air Command PoC to manage requests for National Support aircraft.
• Preparing routine A3 Ops briefings including COS Ops Weekly Brief and Command Briefs

United Kingdom Mission Control Centre, Kinloss Barracks

• UK Mission Control Centre Supervisor
• Responsible for monitoring emergency beacon activations on the 406MHz emergency frequency
• Create and investigate each UK beacon and foreign coded beacon alert in the UKSRR
• Liaise with many agencies including the ARCC, HM Coastguard units, SAR helicopter flights, police, ambulance services, airfields, air operators and other MCCs across the world
• Responsible for many communication routes including AFTN, FTP-VPN, Datalink and Fax
• Responsible for the investigation of the activation of SPOT beacons, controlled by IERCC in Houston, Texas

• Flight Planning
• Update and maintain flight publications critical to flight safety
• Creating route packs for C130K/C130J aircrew to use when operating away from unit
• Plotting NOTAMs/SNOTAMs, live Danger Areas, Temporary Danger Areas (TDAs) and Royal Flight routesAir Operations (Visiting Aircraft Operator)
• Book visiting military and civilian aircraft on to the airfield, issuing PPR details to aircraft operators
• Deconflicting visiting arrivals and departures with operational C130K/C130J traffic

• Valeting new and used Subaru and Isuzu vehicles to a high standard for the showroom, forecourt and customers.
• Minor mechanical work including bulb, battery and wheel changes, creating number plates and carrying out final checks before delivery.
