Currently working as a Trainee subsea engineer on board the E5001 a 4th Gen semi sub. I have gained valuable experience during a major ship yard project on Cameron TL double BOP with ST locks (15,000 psi) with Hydrill dual annular (10,000 psi) Competent in the following- Operation and maintenance on all Subsea related equipment to include but not limited toCameron BOP stack, MUX PODS, MRT’s, Vetco H-4 Connectors-Removal, reinstallation and maintenance of all components and parts-Troubleshoot and fault finding on subsea Subsea equipment and take appropriate corrective action with minimal guidance-Perform all aspects of maintenance and repair-Overhaul equipment as necessary for proper operation-Preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment for wear and leaks-Perform Pressure, Operator and Function testing on BOP keeping accurate and detailed record of tests

Served as an experienced mechanical Engineer within the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in the British Army for 7 years. My main duties included but were not limited to-Repair of unserviceable engines and inspection of a wide variety of equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, cooling systems, electrical systems and lifting equipment-Servicing and inspection of equipment such as vehicle engines, compressors, generators and lifting aids-Repair of heavy armoured and tracked vehicles-Experience working with both open and closed hydraulic systems-Day to day use of various types of lifting equipment such as gantry crane-Competent in MIG, TIG and stick welding-Extensive training on health and safety procedures with a strong awareness of COSHH procedures, including the use of risk assessments and safety data sheets.-Demonstrates and provides effective environmental protection procedures including waste management.-Experience in delivering mechanical based lessons to colleagues in order to provide them with a general understanding on certain equipment types-Emergency first aid training in basic life support, catastrophic haemorrhage, basic anatomy and physiology, cervical immobilization, basic first aid and scene safety-Resourceful using ICT based programs for servicing schedules, reports, demanding and organizing maintenance tasks.-Working in harsh and physically demanding climates.
