Christopher Gordon is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences at Macquarie University. He is the Research Leader of the Insomnia and Chronobiology program in the Sleep and Circadian Research Group at the Woolcock Institute leads the insomnia, chronobiology and digital health themes. He is an internationally-recognised leader of insomnia and translational research and leads a multidisciplinary team of researchers exploring a range of research topics: insomnia pathophysiology and treatment, digital sleep health, chronotherapeutic effect of light on sleep, ageing and sleep disturbance, and health professional sleep education. He is also involved in translational research with a combination of academia, government and multinational sleep health companies. His university role is as a registered nurse and recognised national leader of nurse education. Christopher received teaching excellent awards for interprofessional education and nurse education teaching and received an Australian Award for University Teaching in 2017.
