I am a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 15 years experience in building design. As well as analysis and design work, I am highly involved in the detailed coordination process with the rest of the design team, Clients, Stakeholders and Contractors. I carry out planning and management of resources for the projects I lead and have a strong holistic engineering, multidisciplinary approach looking to offer the skills of our other disciplines to help the client reach the right solutions. I have gained exposure to a broad range of projects including the substantial podium deck bridge of Principal Place built over the railway line into Liverpool Street station, a highly sustainable 5 story office building in London and the education sector with an academy project outside of London. My experience of tall buildings includes the award winning 62 storey Newfoundland diagrid, hybrid construction, residential tower at Canary Wharf.I have extensive experience in steel and concrete design, sustainable concrete solutions and working in close proximity to the railway.I have a specific passion for tall and complex buildings with challenging constraints and also for mentoring and developing those around me to help them grow and get the best out of them in order to help give our clients the best service.
