From Logistics and Operations to Electronics Engineering, My Career JourneyI started my career as a Warehouse Operative, progressing to Supervisor roles at City Link and later 80s Casual Classics. These roles immersed me in logistics and operations, where I learned the intricacies of the supply chain and eventually became a Warehouse Manager. Strategic planning, team leadership, and operational efficiency became second nature in this fast-paced environment.In pursuit of new challenges, I embraced entrepreneurship by founding and managing a successful commercial cleaning business. This experience sharpened my skills in client relationships, project management, and operational excellence, offering me a deep understanding of small business dynamics.Seeking a more technically challenging role, I transitioned into the electrical field by completing the City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas in Electrical Installations & Design, as well as the Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation BS7671:2018 (18th Edition). This solid foundation allowed me to move into electronics engineering, where I’ve been able to apply my technical expertise to innovative projects.My role as an Electronics Engineer at SPI Global Play has deepened my problem-solving skills and fuelled a passion for technology and engineering.Currently, I am pursuing a Level 4 HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (HTQ) which I expect to complete in May 2025, to further enhance my knowledge in this evolving field. My educational background also includes certifications in PC software and hardware, Cisco IT essentials, and a BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology.With a solid foundation in both technical expertise and leadership, I am passionate about applying my diverse skill set to drive innovation and contribute meaningfully to the evolving world of electrical & electronics engineering.
