Worked within the telecommunications industry in since 1995Experienced in planning of diversions works, New Build, Business Planning, FTTP and PIA infrastructure. Naturally progressed into management, responsible for teams of planners and planning support functions (Quality, Project Management) culminating in management of delivery to multiple clients of high-end quality planning services.Worked on various project over the years including the provision of telephone and data service to Bluewater Retail Park, Dartford. The diversion of network in Ashford, Kent, for the Channel Tunnel Project. The diversion of network for the Eastgate redevelopment in Leeds and a variety of smaller schemes throughout the country.Started my career at Cabletel in Guildford with continued service through the many re-brandings and take-overs within the Telecoms Industry. Involved in works on many of the legacy and generic networks throughout what is now Virgin Media. Moved on to working with Kelly communications in October 2014 as an opportunity to broaden my knowledge and experience. Took advantage of an opportunity to join Flomatik Network Service in September 2015 working as the lead of a team of planners through to becoming the Planning Standards and Quality Manager working on a variety of projects delivering FTTP via PIA and traditional networks as well as supporting clients with diversionary works. Responsible for managing project resources, leading project delivery, overseeing quality of submissions. Returning to a planning position within Cityfibre holdings in September 2020 allowed me to take an opportunity closer to home as well as getting me closer to the build increasing my knowledge base with hands on experience of PIA and FTTX practices. In April 2021 I was lucky enough to be offered an opportunity to take up a new position as a Planning Delivery Manager responsible for the delivery of planning services to multiple clients both established names and start ups taking advantage of the BDUK voucher scheme.
