Responsibilities • Managing £13m services budget for a 35-strong team operating over 42 sites (over 650sqm radius), devised policy and strategy for both Parking & Fleet Transport • Prepared and delivered key presentations to committee and key stakeholders (e.g. business forums, chamber of commerce, town councils and more) • Controlled all asset / CAPEX projects, e.g. £2m rebranding of both authorities parking services, £1/2m replacement program of fleet pay and display machines, £250K delivery of 2012 Olympic Sailing transport package, Development of online resident parking scheme (£150K); author of 220page parking review as part of a comprehensive SRP of parking Achievements• Devised and executed the merger of WPBC & WDDC's parking services finding £1.5 m in efficiencies by developing a new service delivery model, optimising use of emerging technologies to enhance customer experience, cutting of cost centres and reducing human resource (template currently being used by two other authorities in their merge program • Brought private sector mentality to local government; e.g. streamlined parking, introducing new revenue streams, notably venue hire, advertising space and ATM/vending• Designed and wrote the standard fleet transport business model template for local authorities (currently being used by other authorities)

Responsibilities • Managed all areas of the $7m turnover estate, managing the 120-seat (fine-dining) restaurant and conference facilities (turnover $1.5m; staff compliment of 18) • Managed the estates’ vineyard operations, from grape to bottling process • Developed new strategies to expand the Blaxlands brand & expand sales of vineyards product lines Achievements• Successfully opened and leased a boutique wine tasting centre • Carried out a full review of the business, introducing operational changes directly leading to a 500% increase in wedding and corporate function bookings • Dramatically increased profits by introducing more aggressive approach to procurement, more effective stock management controls, optimising use of staff during parka & trough periods
